Classes are given in French or English from 7 years old. The initial contact as well as the courses are available in French or in English.
Lessons are given at a fixed location, at the student’s home or by videoconference.
Lessons are available for anyone wishing to learn electric guitar, dry guitar (classical or folk).
All levels are admitted, from beginner to advanced level. No knowledge of music theory will be required.
During the first class, the teacher draws up a profile of the student, based on his musical tastes and desires. This allows him subsequently to be able to target the different themes and exercises to be tackled as well as possible.
The different parts can be approached freely during the course according to the student’s needs.

Lessons content
Generally the electric or dry guitar lessons are composed of 3 parts:
  1. Guitar techniques (technical exercises, position corrections, new techniques)
  2. Theory (harmony and improvisation)
  3. Study of pieces (studies of different styles according to the student’s wishes)
  4. Composition/Improvisation
 
Technical

Some techniques mentioned can be used in the different instruments offered
Left hand: Extensions, bars, vibrato, bending etc.
Right hand: Alternate fingers, slap, picking, alternate picking,
Technique: sweeping, tapping, arpeggios. Velocity: Synchronization, link.
The technical part is obviously accompanied by exercises to practice at home, most often with a metronome.

Theory

Scales: Major and minor scales, pentatonic.
Chords: Intervals, triad and tetrad chords, Anglo-Saxon encryption, reversals, figurations, arpeggios.
Miscellaneous: Reading grids, harmonic analysis, cadences, reharmonization, polytonality.
The theoretical part is usually accompanied by pages to read and exercises to practice. The student may also be asked to make compositions or to practice improvisation on a specific part.
